Don Jamieson (born September 27) is a stand-up comedian and television host, known as one of the hosts of That Metal Show on VH1 Classic.

Life

Jamieson has host several television shows. He earned an "Emmy Award" for his work on HBO's "Inside The NFL" for his work with comedy partner, Jim Florentine, which included sports-themed comedy sketches.[1] However, he is most notable as a co-host of VH1 Classic’s of “That Metal Show.”[1] Rolling Stone called the show "one of the 50 Best Reasons To Watch TV.”[1]

Jamieson and Florentine collaborated on ComedyCentral.com series, "Meet The Creeps" and prank call CD's, "Terrorizing Telemarketers."[1] Jamiseon was also a featured “Roaster” on Howard Stern’s “Staff Roasts”.[1] His other appearances include MTV2’s “Crank Yankers,” ABC's Good Morning America and HLN's Joy Behar Show.[1] He also hosted OLN's "Beach Ambush".[1]

In 2011, he released “Live and Hilarious” on Metal Blade Records, which was in the Top 20 on iTunes comedy charts and the top 10 on the Billboard charts.[1]

Since 2009, Jamieson has been a member in the band called Gunfire-N-Sodomy from New York City, which is described as "Acoustic Death Metal/Snuffcore".[1]
